The Arattai Business Platform is a REST API that lets businesses automate promotional, transactional, and authentication messaging, exchange conversational display/input messages, and manage business-initiated notifications programmatically. It is built on REST principles and authenticated using OAuth 2.0.
This is a separate product from the Arattai Business App (the free, no-code mobile app for small and medium businesses). Use the Arattai Business App if you need chat labels, quick replies, and away messages without any API integration; use the Arattai Business Platform documented here if you need to integrate messaging into your own systems via REST APIs.
This documentation covers the OAuth 2.0 flow, available scopes, and every endpoint request/response schema needed to build a production integration.
Arattai Business Platform APIs
Arattai Business Platform supports two categories of messaging, covering four message types total: three business-initiated types (Promotional, Transactional, Authentication) and one user-initiated type (Conversational). Each type has its own API and constraints, listed below.
